Dry Eye World

Thanks for joining me! In this blog, I promise that you’ll find information that you can trust. I’m a fellowship trained ophthalmologist (I have an M.D. degree, practice corneal, conjunctival, and cataract surgery, and treat many dry eye patients in my daily practice).

Many people come to see me after months or years of trying to feel better. By the time I meet them, they are mentally and emotionally exhausted from trying to find answers to their questions. Most importantly, they are just trying to find a solution so they can feel better.

The information out there about diagnoses and treatments can be bewildering. You don’t know who’s just trying to sell you something, and if that something is truly in your best interest or not. How can you tell the pros and cons of treatment? Obviously, unless I examine your eyes, I can’t tell you what’s right for you, but I hope this blog gives you a framework to approach your own problems and guide yourself towards relief.

Now voyager sail thou forth to seek and find.–Walt Whitman
